About NetTooling

Who we are, what we build, and why these tools exist.

Last updated: May 24, 2026

What Is NetTooling?

NetTooling is a collection of free, browser-based utilities for developers, designers, marketers, and anyone who works on the web. Need to format messy JSON before a deploy? Generate a secure password? Check when a domain was registered? Look up your public IP? We built NetTooling so you can do all of that in one tab — without installing software, creating an account, or hitting a paywall.

The site is operated by Cwebi.com, a web development team that builds tools and websites for clients worldwide. NetTooling started as an internal scratchpad of utilities we kept rebuilding for different projects. We open-sourced the collection so anyone can use them.

How Our Tools Work

Most NetTooling utilities run entirely in your browser. When you paste JSON into the formatter or generate a password, the processing happens locally on your device — your input is not uploaded to our servers. A few tools (like IP lookup and domain age checking) need to query public APIs to fetch network or WHOIS data, but we do not store the queries or tie them to your identity.

Every tool page includes a written guide explaining what the tool does, how to use it, and answers to common questions. We believe a useful tool deserves useful documentation, not just a blank input box.

What We Are Building Toward

We are steadily expanding the library — developer utilities, SEO helpers, text and URL tools, and more. New tools ship with the same standards: fast, free, no signup, and documented well enough that a first-time visitor knows exactly what to do.

If you have a tool request or found a bug, reach out through our contact page. We read every message.
